Filip Orkisz

TRUMPET

Filip Orkisz began his musical career at the age of nine playing the trumpet in Villeurbanne (France).

After studying at the CNSMD Paris, he furthered his training at the music academies in Freiburg and Berlin, including with William Forman.

His passion for orchestral music led him to the academy of the Staatskapelle Halle and subsequently to a temporary contract with the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig. He is currently working as a contracted principal trumpet (coordinated position) with the Philharmonie Baden-Baden. 

His repertoire ranges from Baroque trumpet to contemporary music, with a focus on symphonic literature.
